I joined Call Connection in 2007 and, as the job title suggests, my role is to bring new people into the business. I deal with the full recruitment process from advertising roles, through the interview stages and on to offering successful candidates a role. I also get involved with internal recruitment and promotions. It's really rewarding to see someone you employed progressing in their careers with the company.

With over 20 years experience working in the Personnel environment, myself and my team look after our 250+ staff across the two locations. Taking the role at Call Connection was a big change for me as I used to be a chef. Due to my lack of insurance knowledge I felt apprehensive about applying for a position here but the training you receive on joining sets you up for success. It’s just as important to have a big personality and confidence in yourself as it is to have the knowledge. It is not an easy job, it requires persistence and a positive mind to be successful, but it is rewarding. Qualifications are available that you can complete in working hours or access online from home. My aim is to complete the qualifications available to me as this will enhance my opportunities later in life.

I started as a Call Transfer Exec, moved in to coaching and training, and then 2 years on interviewed successfully for promotion into a supervisory role. In my role as a Senior Supervisor I am responsible for all supervisors and Call Transfer Executives (CTEs) in the Outbound department. On a daily basis I look into whether all of the CTEs, as well as the department as a whole, are achieving targets and find ways to help maximise our output. I also work closely with other supervisors to help them coach, train and inspire the guys in their teams.

I have worked for Call Connection since day one!

I run the Call Centre which involves overseeing the performance of our Inbound, Outbound and Fulfilment activities. Call Connection is an innovative, hard working but fun place to be.

I manage the Training Department offering training, coaching and assessment to employees. As a department we make sure new call centre staff are fully equipped to make quality calls while reaching business targets. I lead and manage a department of four, who bring creative training ideas to life, such as the Call Connection Accreditation Scheme

I started working at Call Connection in 2007. Prior to joining the Business Development team I worked in the call centre as a Senior Call Transfer Executive. I applied for a role in the business development team and I am now an Account Manager with responsibility for new business, and managing relationships with a number of key insurance brands like Autonet.

I have been working at Call Connection now for nearly 4 years in a variety of roles. My current position is a 'System Test Assistant', which I thoroughly enjoy. The job involves testing new system/software releases to make sure they are fit for purpose before use. I feel at home when working with my colleagues in IT at Call Connection as they have made me feel a part of the team and a valued member of staff.
